Organizers of festival Marianka 2017 announce theme tourney for any compositions with fairy pieces moose, eagle, sparrow or hamster. Deadline is set to 23.8.2017, Juraj Brabec will be the judge. Details of the announcement are given in the following file (in Slovak and English):

Marianka 2017
The 9th International Chess Composition Festival will be held in Marianka, Slovakia from wednesday august 23, till sunday august 27, 2017 (23.8.2017 – 27.8.2017).
Besides the traditional program (lectures, composing and solving competitions, evening movies), an interesting excursion is planned for saturday: the Devín Castle.
